St. George Spirits Spiced Pear Liqueur

Of all the seasons, autumn has my favorite flavors....

As we find ourselves very much in the heart of Fall, I’ve certainly had more than my fair share of all things pumpkin and apple. Yet in my glass, I was looking for something a bit different. Enter the Spiced Pear Liqueur from St. George Distillery in California.

This complex and versatile liqueur captures the soft sweetness of early autumn’s peak pear season with the cozy flavors of warm mulling spices. St. George takes their flagship pear brandy and adds fresh pear juice to create a beverage of lower proof with wonderful perfume and depth. It’s delicious on its own (enjoyed with a cheese board, or as an after dinner liquid dessert) but we especially love it for the subtle seasonal, nostalgic essence it lends to cocktails.

Below are some of our favorite ways to use the Spiced Pear Liqueur, but go ahead and experiment at your home bar using it as a substitute for triple sec, vermouth, or other liqueurs. (Just be sure to report back to us with any delicious recipes you concoct!)
