Chateau Sainte Croix Côtes de Provence Rosé, 2019

Established in 1927, Château Sainte Croix sits on 50 hectares in the town of Carcès. Family-owned for four generations, the estate was a former fortress built in the 12th century by Cistercian monks. After being purchased by the Pélépol family in 1924, the property stopped contributing grapes to the Carcès cooperative and began making their own wine three short years later. The vineyards are deeply rooted in clayey-calcareous soils that are mixed with sandy deposits.

Ripe red-berry flavors are warm while never losing a crisp edge. Full and tangy with orange peel, it is ready to drink.
