High ‘n Wicked Aeneas Coffey #4 Single Grain Irish Whiskey

Sourced from an undisclosed distillery in County Cork, Ireland, and finished by global whiskey legend Noel Sweeney. Distilled from 95% French maize and 5% malted barley on a continuous Coffey column still. Aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Tinta Negra Caste Extra Sweet Madeira Casks for an additional 6 months. Non-age statement. Aromas of breakfast porridge with butter, lemon curd, and heather progress to a palate of Madeira-soaked tea cakes with royal icing. Toasted barley, clover honey, and Himalayan Sea salt gently frame a finish of lingering, pleasant tannin. Non-chill filtered; 50% ABV.
