description

The grapes used for this wine come from numerous, carefully-selected, high quality vineyards. The individual lots were blended to emphasize richness and fruitiness. The wine shows fresh cherry, berry aromas and balanced sweet tannins which give a velvety mouthfilling texture.

Doyle Hinman opened Hinman Vineyards in 1979. By 1988, the winery had become Oregon’s top selling winery. In 1991, Carolyn Chambers, a Eugene, Oregon businesswoman, acquired the winery. Carolyn’s daughter, Liz, has managed the day-to-day operations of the winery since 1995 and became sole proprietor in 2012 upon Carolyn's passing.

Today, Hinman Vineyards has grown to produce approximately 8,000 cases of wine per year. Our wine is produced and bottled in the Southern Willamette Valley. Our grapes come from the Rogue and Willamette Valleys with the exception of our upcoming Sweet Rosé, which comes from Washington. Hinman Vineyards is your authentic Pacific Northwest wine in an elegant package at an accessible price.
