Domaine Maurice Schoech Pinot Auxerrois 'Vieilles Vignes' Alsace, 2018

This Pinot Auxerrois is a uniquely fuller bodied varietal from Alsace, France. The Domaine, established in 1650, farms organically and harvests by hand.  This is a special place.  Expect a fuller bodied white, with notes of tree fruit like apple or pear and little residual sugar.  The vines, at an average age of over 70 years old, contribute great texture.  Delight in an unusually delicious glass replete with floral aromatics and powerful minerality to kick off the season.
