Outward Wines 'Curtis Vineyard' Cabernet Franc Santa Ynez Valley, 2021

This wine is made from 100% Cabernet Franc grown in the Santa Ynez Valley. The vineyard's ideal location allows for optimal ripening thanks to diurnal shift - warm days and cool nights. 50% whole cluster fermentation and 21 days of skin contact, for a combination of juicy vibrant fruit and structure. Aged in oak for 10 months and bottled without fining or filtration. This Cab Franc boasts classic aromas of black currant and green peppercorn, and a savory, subtly spicy palate. We would pair this with lamb or beef gyros, and roasted potatoes tossed in lemon, olive oil, sea salt, and oregano.
