description
Well-structured with excellent minerality and aromas of tropical fruits and, after some aging, floral elements. Even though it is designed to be a fresh wine when young, it has good aging potential.
- 100% Champagne clone Pinot Noir planted in 1972
- Purchased by the Cavallotto Family in 1989 when they acquired the Vignolo cru
- 1.68 hectares organically farmed on the north-eastern slopes of Vignolo between 260-310 meters above sea level
- Calcareous clay soils with veins of sand
- Fermented without the skins followed by partial malolactic fermentation
- Aged in stainless steel and rested on the lees for 9 months before release
- 800 cases produced on average
- The name “Pinner” comes from PINot NERo! Often shows a slightly rosé or onion-skin tone color.
