Diamantis Magoutes Vineyard Xinomavro, 2018

This wine is made of 100% Xinomavro, from the PGI of Siatista in northern Greece. Resembling a great expression of Nebbiolo, this wine is opulent with dark fruit, savory tannins and spice notes. Decant it about an hour before serving and enjoy with your favorite lamb dish. A wonderful option could be lamb and pistachio patties over a sumac yogurt sauce and a traditional greek salad - no romaine! The richness of the dish sops up those dark and savory tannins excellently.
