The emblematic wine of the House and the appellation. Gris Lelièvre is the flagship wine, the most representative of the AOC Côtes de Toul.
Made from direct pressing of Gamay and Pinot Noir, it combines the aromas of a rosé with the freshness and complexity of a white wine.
This Vin Gris comes from a selection of our best plots located in Lucey, Bruley, Blénod les Toul and Buligny. These well-drained clay-limestone hillsides are protected from humid winds from the West and offer adequate sunshine to reach attractive maturity.
Harvested manually then pressed directly, without maceration, the Gamay (80%) and Pinot Noir (20%) which make up this Gris de Toul are fermented at controlled temperature in order to preserve fruit and freshness. They are then vinified and aged on lees in stainless steel vats then blended a few weeks before bottling.
