Menade 'Ecológico' Verdejo Rueda, 2020

An expression of freshness and the wilder side of the Verdejo variety. The grapes for this come from distinct parcels in and around Rueda that grow in pebbly, clay, and calcareous soils.

Each parcel is vinified separately; and the vines are between 20 and 25 years old.  

"We ferment purely with the grapes’ very own natural wild yeasts in order that the wine truly reflect its environment. It is accordingly fresh and lively with pronounced herbal elements and minerality: the personality and – for many – personification of Bodegas Menade."
