Pinot Noir sourced from multiple sites in Kallstadt and Bad Dürkheim. The bunches are destemmed and ferment in stainless tank. After macerating for about five weeks, the wine is pressed off into one new 2400L barrel and the remainder into used 600L barrels for 18 months before being bottled. A delicate nose of red flowers and cherries, the palate is fresh and vibrant, with a melange of red fruits (think plums, crunchy cranberries and raspberries, strawberry compote) balanced with a savory spice on the finish.
