A 15 year old single malt from Linkwood, independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. It was released as part of the Distillery labels series, and as such, it features a stylish retro label upon the bottle. The label itself features some sort of bird turning its neck in a way that would be impossible for mere humans.
Nose: Grassy barley and chocolate raisins. A hint of almond hides in there somewhere...
Palate: Baking spices begin to take shape on the palate, soon joined by milky tea and blueberry muffins.
Finish: Slightly drying on the finish, with more ground spices and a whisper of cedar.
