A most famous wine region since the 1800’s, Bordeaux is divided by the Garonne and Dordogne Rivers. Whether Left Bank (Medoc, Pauillac, and Margaux; Cabernet Sauvignon) or Right Bank (Saint-Emilion and Pomerol; Merlot), these wines are fit for a weeknight supper or the Cellar. Pair with steak frites, or a roasted lamb. White wines of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon as well as Sauternes (dessert!) cannot be missed, either!
