Typically exhibiting medium body, moderate tannins, and vibrant acidity, Cabernet Franc is grown all over the world but principally in France in the Loire Valley, most famously in Chinon and Saumur Champigny. Cabernet Franc is also the genetic ancestor to Cabernet Sauvignon! Known for elegance and power, pair with herbal or savory flavors such as grilled chicken, grilled vegetables, and tomato and herb roasted dishes.
