Willett Family Estate “Barrel No. 4521 The Wise Old Dog” 5-Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a distinctive, full-bodied expression, as these 'purple tops' can be, that showcases the character and craftsmanship of Willett’s highly sought-after single barrel program.

The nose opens with toasty cornbread, dry oak, dark fruits, and warm baking spices, leading into a rich palate of dark cherry, orange peel, tinned pears, and applesauce, layered with sweet caramel, mulling spices, cinnamon, and clove.

As the very best examples of Willett 'purple top' Straight Bourbon program, this robust Whiskey finishes with a long, warming, spice-driven finish that highlights traditional oak influence and the bold, barrel-proof character.

Made in small quantities at the historic, this Barrel limited to just 192 Bottles, we delight in collaborating with Drew and his Team to bring you a unique expression of the family-owned Willett Estate Distillery, where a hands-on, handcrafted approach remains central. The Distillery, itself, elected to keep 12 Bottles in its Library leaving us with only 180 to share with you.
