This wine is made of 100% Zweigelt. It is easygoing and even chillable, with red berry and floral aromas and a juicy, tart cranberry palate. This is an amazing pairing for your homemade smashburgers with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Unfined, unfiltered and matured in large stainless steel tanks for 6 months. The name of the wine is to honor Viennese born Dora Kallmus (1881–1963), better known as Madame d’Ora, She was an unusual woman for her time with a spectacular career as one of the leading photographic portraitists of the early 20th century.

From our Importer: Gerald Diem is a fifth generation winemaker. He can trace his family history back to 1848. He and his wife took over the estate in 2000. They have 25 hectares of certified organic wines and is dry farmed and hand harvested. The vineyards lie on that the foot of the Manharts mountain, the soils are a mix of sand and clay sediment. D'ORA is dedicated to producing high-quality wines that showcase the best of Austrian winemaking.
