Chateau de Pez '2nd Pez' Saint-Estèphe, 2020

This wine is made from 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot. We would pair this with lamb burgers. Displaying notes of peony, violet and raspberry, its nose is vibrant and full of promise. The palate is long and powerful, with both floral and fruity notes such as wild strawberry and cherry and grippy, well-integrated tannins. It is the estate's second wine, and a fresher juicier expression than its peer.
