This wine is made of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. It has beautiful notes of blueberry compote, plums, currant, and violet petals, supported by subtle blackberry bramble, black pepper. It's well-structures with Bordeaux-like earthiness, bright acidity, and persistent tannin. It's a true glass of California, with grapes sourced from the foot of Mount Saint Helena and Napa. This wine pairs excellently with anything salty and fatty, especially a pasta bolognese, spare ribs, or a dark chocolate cake.

From the producer's website: pairs wonderfully with anything salty or high in fat. delicious alongside any of the following dishes: pasta bolognese, sausage pizza, spare ribs (or any red meat), cheese plate, dark chocolate cake. this wine is 95% cabernet sauvignon and 5% cabernet franc. the cabernet sauvignon comes from the red hills AVA located east of st. helena, at the base of a volcano (1500 feet of elevation). the cabernet franc comes from the coombsville, napa AVA.
