This wine is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot added, the blend changes from vintage to vintage. A classic but lean Margaux blend, these wines are lean with plenty of mineral acidity backed up with delicious plum, black currant, oak,  and tobacco. Gratifying for wine lovers to open after ten years of bottle age but perfectly big and brooding when young. Pair with a T-bone steak fresh off the grill.

A solid warm and easy vintage. Produced tannic and racy wines. Will be delightful now, but can continue to cellar.
Varietals 75% Cabernet Sauvignon 25% Merlot aging 15 months in French oak barrels 60% new oak barrels 40% one-year-old oak barrels.
-Vintage 2016
Rain in early spring led into a hot dry summer. Built tannic and juicy reds were the result. While cellaring is recommended, wine is lovely now.
