This wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carmenère. It is elegant as an everyday wine or an apertif, with a bright juiciness. We would pair it with steak fajitas. The winery is almost entirely within a national park in the Veneto, and centers around the village of Arquà Petrarca, where one of the most famous scholars and poets of the Italian Renaissance, Francesco Petrarch, settled after his diplomatic duties and writing slowed down.

From the winery: Since inception we have pioneered quality through the planting of our vines on the side of the highest of the Euganean hills, and by vinifying them with utmost precision.

Today we still carry along that path of excellence and maintain the high standards of our viticultural heritage whilst combining modern oenological techniques.

Vignalta supports the environmental sustainability: it was one of the first wineries in Italy to install a photovoltaic system.

We practice “integrated pest management” and we use antiparasitic treatments only when the symptoms of fungal diseases manifest.

This vineyard management is focused to produce high quality and well-balanced grapes, vinified with “minimalist” enological techniques.
