This wine is 100% Chenin Blanc from a single vineyard in the Loire Valley. A deliciously dry, yet rich Chenin Blanc, full of apple, peach, pear, honey, saline, and citrus. This bottling will age beautifully but will also pair well with your favorite soft cheese, fatty fish dishes, or vegetarian meals.

Details

This 6 hectare enclosure bordered by stone walls is located on the first hill above the church of Vouvray, it is one of the oldest vineyards in the appellation. The Loire below brings the morning humidity to the vines, the southern exposure gives the sunshine necessary for the maturity of the Chenin Blanc. The clay-limestone soil gives the Secs du Clos du Bourg a lot of depth and complexity.
