Enfield Wine Co. is the family project of John Lockwood and Amy Seese, with a focus on producing wines of personality. Driven by soil first and foremost, Enfield Wine Co. works exclusively with small hand-harvested, old vine farms that possess a distinct and powerful sense of place. Originally founded in 2010 as a side project while working nearby, in 2013 John and Amy made the exciting and necessary move to devote themselves to Enfield Wine Company completely. John's wines today represent something uniquely old-fashioned and honest about special California farms with little to no employment of new oak and a freshness and low alcohol gulpability rarely seen in wines made after the 1970s.
