This wine is 100% Riesling from the Grosses Gewachs (Premier Cru) vineyard site of Schlossberg in the Mosel region of Germany. This wine is lush, feigning a sense of sweetness, but in reality bone dry. It is complex with apricot and a myriad of stone fruit flavors. It is built to live in the cellar for a few years after vintage, but will be quite yummy if opened upon purchase as well. Imbibe with Currywurst ot Schnitzel, or even a lean cut of beef.
