This wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coonawarra region of Australia. It derives its name from the strip of coveted "Terra Rossa" soil it is harvested from. Terra Rossa soils are highly coveted in Australia because they are rich in calcium and iron, and the heat they reflect allows grapes to ripen earlier. This wine oozes with the signature blackberry and eucalyptus of Australian Cabernet. We think it will be delightful with braised lamb or Italian sausage.
