Loïc Dugat-Py combines grapes from three separate lieux-dits - Les Epointures, Combes du Dessus and Les Marchais - to produce this stunning, old-vine village Gevrey-Chambertin. Floral, dense and intensely coloured, it has 50% each of whole bunches and new wood, violet and aniseed aromas, succulent tannins and intense blueberry and black cherry fruit. Not cheap, but this is as good as many Premiers Crus.
