Clau de Nell Cabernet Franc Anjou Rouge, 2022

Clau de Nell Cabernet Franc Anjou Rouge, 2022

Regular price $60.00

100% Cabernet Franc from 45 year old vines. After a rigorous sorting, the grapes are de-stemmed and macerated for 20 days, with a gentle pressing. The wine is then aged for 12 months in used Burgundy barrels followed by 6 months in stainless steel before bottling. This historic estate has been around for over 100 years, and has recently been converted to organic and biodynamic farming. This is a serious but delicate wine, and can be paired with grilled ribeye steaks or braised pork shoulder.
