100% Syrah. From the steep, hand-farmed slopes of Saint-Joseph in the Northern Rhône, Jean-Francois Jacoutin crafts limited-production Syrah of remarkable authenticity. Drawing on childhood memories working alongside his grandfather, Jacoutin employs traditional methods on terrain so dramatic that mechanization remains impossible. His unconventional approach—vinifying and aging in neutral oak, amphora, and cement—yields a wine of striking purity and balance. The Ardeche IGP "A Deux Pas" exemplifies his philosophy: clean, genuine, and beautifully composed. A distinctive expression for those seeking character and provenance in their glass.
