I had the pleasure of meeting Grant Wheeler in Warehouse A in the late Spring to choose this very rare cask. To the best of my knowledge, it's the very first barrel and bottling North of the Mason-Dixon Line and what a treat... soft from chill filtration, rich in body...a rare and unusually delicious single barrel from us just for you. Indulge!
(Maybe we've known each other long enough for your to recall the store about my wife's mother and her listing in the Oakland Phone Book under Allison Wonderland. Maybe not? Our most beloved barrel of all time from Wild Turkey was the 'Allison Wonderland' Bottling of Russell's Reserve Bourbon.)
Now this: My wife's favorite regimen previously only enjoyed as a Bourbon known as Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit... At 101 Proof + Single Barrel + Chill Filtered, this is a rye of first impression for us. Allison remarked it's so unusual, that's tough to catch...
