It's the 2008 vintage Tomatin from Gordon & MacPhail's Discovery series! The identifiable green packaging means that this has been matured in bourbon casks, and after it had spent a while ageing it was independently bottled in 2018. A creamy, vanilla-packed Highlander.
Nose: Apple skin, prominent vanilla, tinned pears, elderflower and floral oak.
Palate: Fruity and sweet, with peaches and vanilla cream, tropical fruit sweeties and slightly earthier vanilla pod.
Finish: A touch of white pepper, delicate apple blossom and oak char linger on the finish.
