Our first Pinot Noir ever for Outward, and a serious one at that! The 2023 Pinot Noir from Bassi was harvested by hand on September 8, 2023. The wine spent 11 days on the skins with 50% whole cluster inclusion during which foot stomps and gentle punchdown were performed. After fermentation, the wine was pressed and aged in neutral French oak barrels for 10 months. Minimal sulfur was added for stability before bottling without fining or filtration.
