From the Winery:

Some of the oldest vineyards in the world thrive in the Mokelumne River AVA between Lodi and the Sacramento Delta. These historic vineyards planted on itʼs own roots and dry-farmed date back to the 1880s. At Marchelle we love working with old vines and created this red blend to honor the multi-generational families that tend to these heritage vines and keep them going. This cuvée consists of 66% Carignan, 33% Zinfandel and 1% Cinsaut.
