This wine is made of 100% Nebbiolo (locally Chiavennasca), drawn from high-altitude alpine vineyards to emphasize freshness and drinkability.  In the glass, it shows lifted aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry, rose, and violet with a subtle mineral, mountain-herb edge. The palate is light to medium-bodied, with bright acidity, fine-grained tannins, and a savory, slightly saline streak that keeps the wine energetic and precise, finishing clean with gentle floral and red fruit persistence. Its freshness and moderate structure make it especially versatile—ideal with alpine dishes like pizzoccheri, cured meats, and simple pasta, but equally at home with roast chicken, grilled pork, or mushroom-based dishes where its acidity and subtle tannin cut through richness while echoing earthy flavors.

From the Winery: The Rosso di Valtellina, vinified in stainless steel, is a blend of grapes grown at different altitudes and exposures, to obtain a fresh, eclectic Nebbiolo to enjoy every day, the flagship of our philosophy

GRAPES: 100% Nebbiolo

VINEYARDS: Tresivio (SO), 480 – 550 meters above sea level, Buglio (SO) 350 - 420 meters above sea level

HARVEST: manual in crates

VINIFICATION: spontaneous fermentation without the use of selected yeasts, followed by a 13-day maceration on the skins

AGING: malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging in stainless steel tanks for 20 months

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13% vol.
