Fun facts: This wine comed from a single vineyard (La Croix Boissée) and is named after it. The vines are planted on clay-limestone on slopes shaped by severe erosion.

This is the Baudry's most age worthy wine.

Appellation: Chinon

Winemaking: The fruit is hand-harvested, destemmed and moved by gravity into cement vats. Fermentation with native yeasts and without sulfur or temperature control lasts around 3 weeks. The wine is then aged in used barrique for 2 years and is bottled without filtration.
