100% classic California Chardonnay. Aged for 10 months in French Oak, 20% of that new. This wine is done right: picked with enough acidity to retain its freshness, and then rounded out by full malolactic conversion and a conscious use of oak treatment. Lemon curd and yellow-apple goodness, perfect for grilled shrimp and fresh summer salads.

From our supplier: Spearheaded by Noah and Kelly Dorrance of Reeve Wines, BloodRoot is a collaboration between venerated winemakers with great vineyard sourcing who have come together to make value-minded wines that overdeliver with their quality. The wines are sourced from multiple benchmark vineyards throughout Napa/Sonoma and reflect the soul of each place, made at a quality and price level that make them absolute no-brainers to drink.

BloodRoot is complimentary to Noah and Kelly’s winery called Reeve Wines, which started in 2015 as a side project from Banshee Wines which Noah was a founder of in 2009. When Reeve Wines began to flourish, Noah decided to turn his full attention to Reeve wines and eventually created BloodRoot as a complementary brand to Reeve.
