100% Sauvignon Blanc sourced from volcanic vineyards in Knights Valley and sandstone vineyards in Gibson Ranch, along the North Coast of California. The wine is aged for 6 months in 25% new French Oak barrels with the remainder being in stainless steel and neutral barrel. Mineral rich and sharp, but with a ton of complexity from barrel as well. This is a dialed in expression of Cali Sauv Blanc, and would pair well with shrimp ceviche, or baked halibut with summer squash.

From the producer: Noah and Kelly Dorrance of Reeve Wines started BloodRoot as a collaboration between reputable California winemakers to make value-driven wines from benchmark vineyard sites across California's North Coast. This sessionable Sauvignon Blanc delivers zesty citrus and minerals on the nose and palate. Some time in French oak adds some additional depth and complexity on the finish. Its ripping acidity makes it seriously quaffable and ideal for poolside sipping.
