100% Pelaverga Piccolo. Highly aromatic and distinctively spicy. Notes of white pepper, wild strawberries, and rose petals leap from the glass. Subtle undertones of herbs, rhubarb, and a trace of clove add complexity. There's an earthy freshness reminiscent of a cool forest floor. Light-bodied yet remarkably flavorful, juicy red berries, especially cranberry and pomegranate, the bright acidity lends freshness, and soft, silky tannins provide gentle structure. The finish is elegant, clean, and slightly savory with a lingering spiced fruit note. Serve lightly chilled with mushroom risotto with fresh herbs or grilled swordfish and white beans.
