This treasure of a wine is an organic and biodynamic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Reflecting true depth of terroir balanced with a certain elegance and lighter touch, this approachable young-vines bottling boasts classic Margaux notes of gravel, flowers and bright red fruits. Its stunning red fruit is enhanced by a kiss of oak for structure and dimension. Cellar-worthy, it's a perfect off-the-beaten-path Bordeaux. Pair with roasted duck, bone-in pork chop, or a hearty roasted vegetable tian.

From our Supplier: Michel Théron from Clos du Jaugueyron has been making wine in the Haut-Médoc since the early '90s. Unlike most of his neighbors, Michel has been working organically almost since the beginning (he is now certified biodynamic), and he is no fan of over extracted, over oaked, or over scored wines. It is all about the famed terroir here, all about finesse, a word that does not often come to mind when one talks about Bordeaux anymore. Yes, they are powerful, earthy, serious, but finesse and delicatesse is what comes to mind first. Farming 5ha in the town of Arsac, on the same terroirs as the more famous Chateaux in the area such as Cantemerle, Michel is crafting wines that will be the next true classics.
