Domaine Skouras 'Salto' Moscofilero, 2022

This wine is made of 100% Mavrofilero, a single clone of Moscofilero. It is fermented with wild yeast and sees 3 hours of skin contact. Moscofilero is a red grape, but with minimal skin contact this is more of a blanc de noir. The wine has a lovely floral nose of white flowers, sweet spices, and honeysuckle, and finishes with mouthwatering fruit and length. We would pair this with fried smelts and crusty bread, with lemon and olive oil close by.
