Details

From the winery: Grapes: 100% Melon de Bourgogne from Landreau village. Vines planted in 1974. Source rock of mica schists and shales. This vintage represents the identity of the vintage at Domaine Luneau-Papin.The different plots from the same terroirs are close to the cellars of the domain and illustrates the schists and mica schists of the commune of Landreau.

Traditional spring cultivation (decavating and hoeing) is extended throughout the estate since 2009. We take care of the vines with natural preparations (no product synthesis) and sow a plant cover (legumes and cereals) listening to each plot at the end of summer. We stimulate the life of the soil with horn dung; 500, in the spring by one or two passes and apply a 501 after the flower and before harvest if necessary.

Short size (guyot simple) during winter. Density per hectare 6,500 plants. Careful sorting is carried out in the vineyard by the harvesters. Pressing whole grapes in a pneumatic press the duration and intensity of which varies depending on the vintage and the plot. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation using native yeasts. Aging in underground concrete tanks + glass tiles for 6 months without racking before bottling in March 2023.

Serving temperature 12°. Aperitif, seafood, salt-crusted sea bass, fillet of sea bream cooked one-sided, salmon crumble and candied zucchini, Asian cuisine, fresh cheeses. In this vintage, the Muscadets are also built on freshness: Le Verger is firm and prominent, while La Grange asserts itself with more roundness and flesh.
RVF Green Guide 2023 by Alexis Goujard The 35-year-old vines on mica schist produce a refined and fresh wine for La Grange, which rings true and illustrates the talent and precision of the Luneau family. RVF magazine June 2016
Complex, yellow fruits, floral note, clean, harmonious palate, bitter on the finish.
