A true Grenache, this bottle is full of brilliant red berries and minerality from marl and limestone. Only seeing concrete for maturation keeps that elegance in as unadulterated a condition as possible. We recommend pairing this with rabbit in mustard sauce or lapin a la cocotte.

Details

From the producer's website: Place called the « Grand Montmirail » altitude vineyards (400 to 520 meters). The bottom of the hill consists of a red marl that brings the muscle and virility. In middle and high hillside limestone bedrock is increasingly present, it transmits wines tension and race. Vineyard planted in 1975.
This is a masculine wine, elegant, vibrating. The orginality of the place is transmitted with energy. Our Gigondas has this character, this minerality, water of rock, wine of rock.
