This wine is 100% Pinot Noir from the commune of Nuit-Saint-Georges. From selected parcels of vines aging at least 55 years old, this is a dense rich wine. Bursting from the glass with rich strawberry, wild herbs, oak, and tobacco notes. This is a great candidate for further cellaring but will also pair excellently with steak au poivre, or duck l'orange.

Blend: Pinot Noir
Vine Age: 50 years, 3.3 ha
Soil Type: Clay, limestone
Farming Type: Lutte Raisonnée
Vinification: Soils are regularly plowed. Vines are only treated when necessary. Vines naturally achieve low yields. Grapes fully de-stemmed. Primary fermentation in stainless steel cuves, and then wines are racked into barrels. Long, slow fermentations. All wines age in barrel. Bottled after approximately 16 months of aging.
Alcohol: 13%
