This wine is 80% Carinena (Carignan), and 20% Garnacha, from Spain. Broad shouldered and layered with flavors of blackberry, plum, leather, dark cherry, oak, and tobacco. Perfect for aging, and pairing with grilled pork, braised lamb, and whole roast chicken.

Cos Perpetual is a wine born of time and terrain. Cos Perpetual's Garnacha and Cariñena vines are between 80 and 100 years old and grow on steep, rocky slopes. Llicorella (slate) is the essence of this beautifully concentrated wine. The parcels that are hand selected for this bottling are small and located near several villages of El Priorat. A tribute to the well-aging Priorat wines, intense, full of character and born to defeat time.
2019 VINTAGE NOTES: T
he 2019 vintage was relatively dry, although sporadic rainfall throughout the growth season contributed to the correct development of the vines. Temperatures fell within normal range, with lows that were somewhat higher than usual, both during the growth season and the ripening period.
