This wine is a field blend of over 25 red and white grapes from +80 year old vines planted on 2 hectares of schist and granite. After whole cluster maceration for three weeks, the wine spends six months on lees with stirring once every two weeks. It is unfined, unfiltered, and overall, a juicy chillable red suitable for any occasion. Pair this with a chicken caesar wrap, or just sip it on your porch with some friends.

Tiago Sampaio
Tiago is the viticulturist and winemaker behind Uivo wines and Folias de Baco, a renowned winery he founded in 2007 in Douro Valley.

Grandson of grape growers, Tiago's passion for wine and viticulture blossomed at a young age as he explored the vineyards alongside his grandfather, absorbing knowledge and embracing the art of winemaking with boundless curiosity and determination.

Inspired by his family's old vineyards and his unwavering commitment to sustainability, Tiago established Folias de Baco as a beacon of innovation in winemaking. The winery is dedicated to organic viticulture and the production of wines with minimal intervention, showcasing the purest expression of the grapes and the unique terroir of the region.
Folias de Baco has earned widespread acclaim for its diverse portfolio of red, white, orange, sparkling, and sweet wines, each a testament to the land and the hands that nurture it.
