- Limited edition aged single blended rum produced by Foursquare Rum Distillery in Saint Philip, Barbados
- Exceptional Cask Series Mark XXVII “Equidem”
- Blend of pot and column rums distilled from molasses by Foursquare Master Distiller & Master Blender Richard Seale
- Distilled in a double-retort copper pot still and twin Coffey column still
- Aged 14 years on-site in Barbados; aged 5 years in ex–bourbon barrels and then transferred into ex–Black Muscat wine casks for 9 years
- Vanilla, tangerine, and baking spice on the nose transition to a bold and savory palate of salted caramel, miso, toffee, enoki mushroom, and brown butter with leather, cedar, and honey on the finish
- No added sugar, coloring, or other additives
- Non-chill filtered; 61% ABV
Hand-selected by Richard Seale himself, Foursquare’s Exceptional Cask Series represents the most unique and coveted rum from this celebrated distillery. Equidem is a truly special release from the acclaimed distillery as it’s the first release aged in Black Muscat casks.
