The cornerstone of the “Sélèque” style revolves around the search for a wine’s natural balance and a pure expression of terroir. Rigorous work in the vineyard, healthy and perfectly ripe fruit, no vinification trickery, the smallest possible amount of sulfur, extended lees aging sur latte and extremely limited use of dosage - these are just some of the elements that result in wines that are vibrant and alive.

This cuvee from Jean Marc is a racy expression of several single vineyard 1ER Cru plantings of Chardonnay. Barrel aging here causes for a brilliant mouth coating roundness and structure. Another great wine displaying Jean Marc ability to show natural balance and raciness.

Les Porgeons planted in 1985.

Soils: Clayey loam, flinty clay , chalky subsoil
Vinification: 100% oak barrels. No fining or filtration.
Reserve Wines: 20% Solera started in 2012.
Aging under crown caps for 3 years (75CL) - 5 years (1.5L)

Dosage: 2 g/L - Extra Brut
