This wine is made of 100% Riesling. We would pair it with Spicy Szechuan style prawns, over rice. Spätlese is a German Riesling classification for fully ripened or late harvested grapes. As such, Spätlese Riesling is off-dry, and rich in fruit and acidity. The 2020 vintage started with a mild winter, but also some good humidity. Overall, this vintage had more sunshine hours than ever, rendering healthy grapes with moderate sugar levels and good acidity. White peach and floral on the nose, with intense minerality on the palate.
