Batch No. 13 is a bold yet well-balanced Campbeltown single malt where robust peat smoke complements, rather than overwhelms, the distillery's rich malt character. The nose opens with campfire smoke, charred citrus, vanilla, and baked apple, alongside hints of sea spray and toasted barley. The palate is full-bodied and oily, revealing layers of smoky bacon, salted caramel, black pepper, lemon zest, and earthy peat, all supported by a distinctive coastal minerality. The finish is long, warming, and smoky, with lingering notes of sweet malt, oak spice, ash, and maritime salinity.
