Sunday Night Supper: A Study of Slope
Jacky Blot (RIP 2023) is one of the truly great producers of Loire Valley red wine. Here, a deep(er) dive with a delicious conclusion.

The charm and restrained intensity of the Lelarge-Pugeot family captured in a single cuvée. Les Charmes is a grown-up version of the entry-level Tradition, one that has matured with age, gained more depth and nuance, but still maintains its lithe and playful levity and freshness. Notes of under-ripe green fruits join with citrus and soft yeast intensity.
