This wine is 100% Sangiovese from a single cru in Montalcino. An old school style of Brunello, this bottling is loaded with cherry, raspberry, leather, tobacco, and clove. A vintage for cellaring, but after a decanting will be enjoyable with a big juicy steak, venison stew, or braised leg of lamb.

100% Sangiovese from Mocali’s oldest vines
This single cru bottling is harvested from vines at 300 meters planted to mineral rich albarese soil
Fermentation in large French oak vats
Aged one year in tonneaux, plus by 24 months in smaller oak barrels before resting in bottle for 7 months
