The 2020 Owen Roe “Rosa Mystica” Cabernet Franc from Yakima Valley is elegant and expressive. Aromas of red currant, raspberry, violet, and subtle graphite, layered with hints of fresh herbs and spice. On the palate it’s medium-bodied and finely structured, offering bright acidity, supple tannins, and a savory, mineral-driven finish that keeps it fresh and food-friendly. Light the winter grill or prep an all-day briase, this is a natural match for herb-roasted lamb, grilled pork tenderloin, duck breast, or earthy dishes like mushroom risotto and lentils.

From the Winery: The image on the front label was captured by photographer David K. Brunn. The ancient Drumlane Abbey in County Cavan, Ireland served as a place of refuge for almost one thousand years until it was destroyed by the forces of Oliver Cromwell. Here the great pa-triot Owen Roe O'Neill
sought solace until he too breathed his last, also at the
hands of Cromwell in 1649. An uplifting nose is bursting with aromas of strawberry, cocoa powder and spice. The palate is very soft and textural with dried fruit notes and subtle hints of oak and vanilla. The dried fruit notes linger with hints of baking spices, velvety mouthfeel and firm tannins. Drink now
through 2029+. VINEYARD SOURCES: DuBrul, Outlook, Red Willow, Union Gap. Alcohol: 14.1%. Ageing: 19 months in 27% New French Oak.
